hi everyone! i thought a dance fusion 2 blog would be a fun and lighthearted way for ms. dove, moms, and dancers to share observations, ideas, funnies, compliments, and other information that might bring a smile to our faces. this is not to replace or interfere with our wonderful and very organized nicole ray! this is just for fun and friendship!

We were at a dance studio in DeSoto today for a rehearsal and they had a bulletin board with dance trivia on it. Thought this was fun info:
Barack Obama recently appointed Illinois Congressman, Rahm Emanuel, to the White House's Chief of Staff. Many do not know that the Congressman takes ballet class once a week. He started taking ballet while a student at Jewish day school and also trained at the Evanston School of Ballet. He turned down a scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet to attend Sarah Lawrence College where he studied dance and graduated in 1981.
Maybe we'll see more support for the arts and dance coming from the White House!
